Naming the dataset

Datasets can and should be named to easily identify of the source of the data. Analysis reports include the dataset name in the report header so readers can identify the data analysed.

Regardless of the dataset layout used, the dataset name is always placed in the leftmost cell two rows above the top-left of the dataset (see below). The row beneath the dataset name should be blank. Analyse-it will then pick-up the name of the dataset and refer to it by name in the reports.
