Presenting a proportion as a percentage

By default proportions and probability values, since they range between 0 and 1 only, are presented to 3 and 4 decimal places respectively. They can be presented as percentages if necessary.

To show a proportion or probability as a percentage:

  1. Select the cell containing the statistic.
  2. Click on the Home tab/Standard toolbar.
  3. The statistic is presented as a percentage. The number of decimal places shown can be changed if necessary (see Changing the presentation decimal places).

NOTE Changes to cell formatting will be lost when the report is updated.
